Caregiver/Parenting Support:
Taking care of children can be one of the hardest jobs. When your child is displaying difficult behaviors, it can feel like they are giving you a hard time. At SSPS, we believe your child is actually having a hard time in these moments. We welcome an opportunity to join with you on your journey to help you identify solutions and develop skills that will improve your relationship with your children.
Parenting concerns often arise during transitions from one developmental stage to another. We can help you when you get stuck or feel out of fresh ideas for solutions. Frequent areas of concern include: toileting issues, expanding food preferences, increasing self-help skills, deciding when and how to establish routines, managing expectations related to accessing technology, establishing homework routines, maintaining friendships, creating strategies for transitions, and expanding social circles and navigating social situations. We are here to provide caregiver support for these areas and more.
