Neuroaffirming Care:

At SSPS, we are expanding our availability to support individuals who need specialized support due to neurodiversity including autism, genetic differences such as fragile x syndrome or learning differences.  Dr. Jennifer Epstein completed a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in developmental disabilities at the University of Colorado early in her career. She has additional expertise acquired over decades of service delivery to provide individualized, developmentally appropriate mental health supports. She combines accessible intervention strategies, visual strategies, and an emphasis on functional communication supports to tailor individualized care.  She works with caregivers and individuals birth through young adulthood to support access to effective mental health services.
