Concerns about Development:

When you have about your child’s development, it can be hard to know where to turn.  Beginning in November, 2026, Dr. Jennifer Epstein will provide neurodevelopmental assessments for children ages 12 months to 60 months due to concerns about development delay, learning differences, or the possibility of an autism spectrum disorder.  These evaluations will be provided through a combination of telehealth screening and in-person neurodevelopmental evaluations using a combination of caregiver interview, observation, standardized assessment including the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2), measures of adaptive behavior (Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale) and cognitive assessment in order to provide diagnostic clarification to address concerns.

Addressing Challenging Behavior Patterns:

When disruptive or challenging behavior patterns are occurring in the home or community settings, it can place additional stress on all family members.  At SSPS, Board Certified Behavior Analysts work with families to determine the function of behavior patterns to create plans to help improve functional skills across a wide range of areas. 

Our clinical team can perform a variety of evaluations, such as the Verbal Behavior Milestones Placement Program, Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Ecological Assessments.
